GLOGSTER - A very useful tool

Glogster is a social network, which allows users to create free interactive posters, or Glogs.
A "Glog" means "graphics blog" and it is an interactive multimedia image.
It looks like a poster, but users can interact with the contents.

Glogster EDU was launched in 2009 to be used by the educational community. Glogster EDU helps teachers and pupils to employ glogs as pedagogical tools and all of them can share their Glogs in private virtual classroom.

Discovering Mister Maker

http://www.mistermaker.com

Mr. Maker is a television series for children. Every episode has the following sequence:

1. Has a creative idea and demonstrates the procedure
2. Shape dance and make a picture
3. Minute make it time
4. Colour Kids
5. Frame-it
6. One more creative idea is demonstrated
7. Time to go

Mister Maker does something interesting and that gives him an idea of what to make. He collects the required things from the Doodle drawers or an art and craft shop and make it. Then he wakes up the shapes and they do a song and dance, followed by a randomly selected shape (circle, triangle, square or rectangle) to form a picture or to find how many (particular shape) are there.   This series has received the BAFTA Children's Awards 2009.
